Rules

To keep our Michigan Photography Club website fun and fair, we ask all members to follow a few simple rules when submitting photos. All images must be original work taken by the person submitting them. This is to ensure proper credit is given and that work isn't being shared without permission. We accept the standard file formats such as JPEG and PNG, which are widely available and easy to upload. To ensure smooth viewing, please keep file sizes under 5 MB. The photos should reflect the spirit of the given categories and should be appropriate for the general audience such as no nudity, profanity, propaganda, or any racial slurs. Anything that is offensive or copyrighted will be removed.

Members are encouraged to vote for their favorite photos in each category. Voting shoudl be based on creativity, composition, and how well the photo fits the theme. Each member may vote once per photo to keep the process fair. Contrsuctive comments are welcome, but please keep feedback respectful and supportive. This site is meant to celebrate photography and build community, so kindness and encouragement are expected at all times. By following these rules, we can create a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their work and enjoying the creativity of others.
